We started our Summer voyage from Taranto, Italy (Hot Pink Ball) and made our way along the bottom of the boot of Italy to Syracuse, Sicily (Light Gray Ball). From there we went to Malta (Light Blue Ball) and took in the sites of this famous destination. Added stops were Isola Lampadusa, Italy - and Mahamamet (Mehdi) and Cap Monastere, both in Tunisia. We did a major land tour of Tunisia while there, covering almost the entire country. Pics of that trip, including visits to the "Star Wars" film locations can be seen under the Tunisia bullet below. Part of our Summer voyage brought us to a small Italian island called Isola Pantellaria (Light Yellow Ball) where we got stuck in a bad storm. After surviving Panellaria, we headed over to the Syracusa in Sardinia (Maroon Ball) and then we went to the Balearics (Red Ball). By August we were in Port Napoleon, France where we put Dakare on the hard for the Winter for the first time in all the years that we have owned her.
