we have been doing in Europe.  The orginal configuration was USA NTSC compatible only and the DVD player was only good for Region 1 (USA.)  Finding ourselves with PAL (European) signals and non-Region play any TV type signal (Except HDTV) be it  PAL, NTSC or a variety of other signals.  We can also play multi region DVDs.  This appears to give us the greatest amount of flexibility with minimal limitations.  For those of you who are just outfiitting your boat, look into some of the dual PAL/NTSC TVs.  In this configuration, since we wanted to do everything remotely, we had to modifiy the SCART cable going into the Sat Receiver.  By adding the 12VDC activation wire as shown in the schematic, we are now able to fully operate the entire system with the remote controls, requiring no manual changing of signals.  The exception to this of course is the TV mast antenna, cable and Sat inputs.</B></div> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> <div> <B> <A
