 Ensure that there is proper AC and DC power (Also - see Electrical below)
 Inspect under all floor boards for possible problems
 Inspect Engine room for problems
 Ensure Propane and fume detector Alarm System working properly
 Ensure Engine Room Fire Extinguisher properly charged
 Clean all raw water filtration systems:
 AC Air Conditioner
 AC Refrigeration
 DC Refrigeration
 Gray water outflow systems (Fresh and Raw)

 Aft & forward shower systems
 Filters for Heads
 Pre Filter for Water Maker at seacock intake

 Change charcoal filter in fresh water filter to fill tanks from dock
 Run air conditioner in both heat and cool modes; monitor performance

Electrical Systems
 EQUALIZE BATTERIES (All 3 Banks) USING CONSTANT CHARGE BATTERY CHARGER (e.g.. Prosine 3000) for ~ 1/2 hour every six months or more if needed (Even if you do not bring batteries down below 12.2. volts)
 Clean & tighten battery terminals
 Check battery fuses for continuity
 Exercise Breakers and main switches
 Ensure Tie Switch for Battery Banks (Engine & House) working properly
 Ensure that Engine Alternator and House Alternator can charge House and/or Engine battery banks using Tie Switch
 Ensure Glendenning Electrical Cord retractor system working properly
 Test lights, and clean contacts or replace bulbs as needed:

Engine Start
 Clean engine room; retouch paint and insulation as necessary
 Check oil level; change as necessary
 Check transmission-oil level. Replace once/year
 Check Coolant level. Fill or replace as necessary

 Change Water Pump Impeller
 Exercise and open the inlet seacock
 Transmission, coupling, check
 Clean engine water strainer
 Change fuel filters both primary and secondary
 Adjust belt tension; replace if appropriate

 Clean and remove rust as necessary from engine, engine mounts & engine mounting framework

Engine Running
 Start Engine by holding in kill switch for 15 seconds to prelube engine and then start
 Monitor oil pressure.
 Monitor exhaust
 Test transmission shifting.
 Look for oil leaks.
 Look for raw-water and coolant leaks.
 Look for fuel leaks around hoses and filters.
 Verify temperature after starting
 Check alternator output on Link 20 System
 Monitor tachometer for regularity
 Exercise the shaft-brake release
 Monitor the PYI dripless shaft seal - (drip rate >> 5 drops per minute)
 Valve tap settings
 Check running temperatures at critical points (injectors, exhaust, water pump, etc. with infrared spot temperature monitor and compare with previous readings
Genset
 Check oil level
 Check Coolant level.
 Change Water Pump Impeller
 Exercise, lubricate, and open the inlet seacock.
 Clean water strainer
 Change fuel filters both primary and secondary
 Exercise and lubricate throttle controls
 Tighten all hose clamps.
 Inspect all hoses for chafe or bulging
 Snug up all bolts on engine accessories
 Exercise and open fuel-tank petcocks
 Run Fuel Polishing system on each tank
