Above is a picture of the anchorage at Tobago Keys. During the height of the season, there will be hundreds of boats in this anchorage, which is noted for it's beauty. Increasingly, there are more charter boats here. Tobago Keys is part of the Grenadines, which in turn, is part of St. Vincent.
Activities here are primarily water related. Fishing however is not allowed since this is a park area, Fish and lobster are readily available from the locals who come here from Union Island to earn a living by servicing the cruising community. Ice, fruits and vegetables, bread, fish, lobster are available. By prior arrangement, any food stuff available in Union Island can also be brought over in the morning by the boat boys. They will also dispose of your garbage for a modest fee. Years ago there was a caution out not to give the boat boys your garbage, because they would dispose of it into the ocean waters between Mayreau and Union Island. These days there seems to be an increased environmental awareness on the part of the boat boys and in general, it is now safe to give them your garbage which they will dispose of in Union Island.
